Hailed as the second coming of Sam Cooke, Leon Bridges was plucked from obscurity in 2014 when White Denim’s Austin Jenkins and Josh Block heard the singer-songwriter perform at an open mic night in his hometown of Fort Worth, Texas, and invited Bridges to the studio to record.
